Nestled off I-75 and the Great Miami River, Franklin is a small community located midway between Cincinnati and Dayton. This area boasts a quaint downtown, a segment of the 57-mile Great Miami River Recreational Trail, and numerous community events. Founder General William C. Schenck named the village of Franklin after Benjamin Franklin when the area was settled in the late 1700s.
